Individual Counselling

Counselling, whether short or longer term is a process of working with a therapist who will exclusively and actively listen to your problems and difficulties.

This process can quickly begin to reduce feelings of inner isolation and by working together on problem areas, may assist a person towards improvements in wellbeing, confidence and personal choices.

There are a vast range of issues that people bring to counselling such as:

  • Bereavement

  • Loss and Grief

  • Stress and Anxiety

  • Depression and Anger

  • Life transitions

  • Issues of Abuse

  • Disability

  • Low Self Esteem

  • Phobias an Panic Attacks

  • Drug, Alcohol and Gambling

An initial assessment appointment is made first to discuss and consider your difficulties and if you would like to continue, further meetings will be arranged.

Therapy is a very unique and individual process and often a current problem can be resolved in a short time frame. Other, more complex issues may require a longer term approach.
