This Humanistic practice is a confidential talking therapy, held in a safe, caring and supportive environment where you are offered empathy, and can be assured of being listened to without judgment. It is based on two people entering into a professional human relationship working towards goals as set by the client. This base encourages you to explore your difficulties, receive appropriate and agreed challenge, therefore raising awareness for you and creating choices you may not have considered before. It includes working with any adults or young people regardless of age, gender, race or creed where any presenting issue or difficulty would be considered. The initial assessment does not commit you in any way to further work, but is an opportunity for you to talk in confidence about the issues which are affecting your emotional well being. Here we can discuss your hopes and goals and create an important area of choice for you as a unique individual or couple.
You can be assured that all sessions are held in the strictest confidence with the professional and ethical boundaries surrounding this fully explained at the initial session. I understand that this is a sensitive area for people and welcome any enquiries that people may have.

Group Counselling is a fascinating way to explore and experience yourself with others, held in a safe environment as in one to one work, providing group support and encouragement. Counselling4all is committed to group work and offers it on a demand basis. It is facilitated by qualified staff covering personal development, themed issues e.g. anger, or can also be experiential, based on people's here and now experiences.
Work with children and young people is welcomed based on a one-one developed trusted relationship in which they feel safe enough to explore their personal issues. Creativity using sand, art and music are invaluable tools to enable the young to express themselves, especially if they have difficulties in verbalising their thoughts and feelings. Work of this nature can provide a greater sense of well being, increased self-esteem and confidence, leading to improved relationships and communication skills. The initial appointments is an opportunity for the parent or carer to accompany the child or young person to meet the counsellor- here they can discuss their difficulties and explore the different ways of working.
